Nothing here is pre-filled with a price: bus fares changed operator in April 2026 and the 2026 beach-concession price caps are not published yet, so the numbers you type are your own.

The planner has two parts. The budget calculator adds up the day for your group: transport, parking, sunbeds, lunch, drinks and extras. It shows a total and a per-person figure. The packing checklist below it remembers what you have ticked, on this device only, so you can fill it in the night before and finish it in the morning.

Why the calculator starts at zero

Every field starts empty because, for 2026, there is no single price to put in it. Ibiza’s buses moved to a new operator, Alsa, on 1 April 2026, with a new fare structure. Sant Josep’s beach-services contract for 2026 to 2029 sets maximum prices for sunbeds and umbrellas, but those caps had not been published when this page was last updated. Beach clubs set their own prices.

So type in what you find: the fare on the operator’s app, the figure on the price board at the beach, the menu prices. For a taxi, use the fare estimator, which works from the official tariff.

A cheap day and a full day

On the cheapest version of a west-coast beach day, you take the bus from Sant Antoni to Port des Torrent or Cala Gració, bring a towel and an umbrella, buy lunch at a beach bar and walk back for the sunset. The only costs are the bus and the food.

The fullest version is a taxi from the airport to Cala Bassa, two sunbeds, lunch at the beach club and a late taxi home after the sunset at Cala Comte. The two can differ by a factor of ten. The calculator shows exactly where your own day sits.

Packing for the west coast

The list is built around three things that catch people out on these coves. Rock: every cove has rocky edges, and the best snorkelling is along them, so water shoes save your feet. Sun: there is little shade on the coastal paths, and UV in midsummer is very high. The walk home: the last boats leave in the afternoon, and the coastal track after sunset needs a torch.

The “leave no trace” group is there because the Sant Josep ordinance fines people for leaving drink containers on the beach. The rules page has the details.

Questions people ask

How much does a beach day in Ibiza cost?

It depends mostly on transport and whether you hire sunbeds or book a beach club. A bus and a picnic is the cheapest day; a taxi from the airport, two sunbeds and lunch at a beach club the most expensive. The calculator adds up your own figures per person.

How much are sunbeds in Ibiza?

Sunbed and umbrella prices on public beaches are capped by each council's beach concession, and the cap for Sant Josep's 2026 to 2029 contract had not been published when this page was written. Beach clubs set their own prices. Check the price board at the beach.
